privacy policy – seeqly
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Seeqly is a private analytics dashboard that displays your own Google
Analytics 4 and Google Search Console data in one clear, read-only
overview. This policy explains what Google data Seeqly accesses, how it is
protected, and how long it is kept.
data we access
Seeqly requests read-only access to:
- Your Google Analytics 4 data (metrics such as users, sessions, pageviews, top pages, devices, countries, traffic sources and realtime active users).
- Your Google Search Console data (search queries, pages, clicks, impressions and average position).
- Your Google account's basic profile: your name and email address, used to sign you in.
Seeqly never creates, edits, or deletes any of your Analytics or Search
Console data.
how we use your data
Your Google Analytics and Search Console data is only shown to you inside
the Seeqly dashboard. It is never sold, shared, or sent to any third
party, and it is not used for advertising or profiling.
data protection & security
Seeqly applies the following measures to protect your Google user data,
including sensitive data:
- Encryption in transit: all traffic between your browser, Seeqly, and Google's APIs is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- No persistent storage of your analytics data: your GA4 and Search Console data is fetched live from Google for each request and rendered directly to you; it is not written to any database or disk.
- Tokens kept in memory only: the OAuth access and refresh tokens used to reach Google's APIs on your behalf are held only in the server's memory for the duration of your session. They are never written to disk, logged, or shared.
- Least privilege: Seeqly requests only read-only scopes and cannot modify your data.
- Credential protection: application secrets are stored as server environment variables, never in client-side code, and access to the server is restricted to the operator.
- Official libraries: authentication uses Google's official OAuth libraries and standard OAuth 2.0 flows.
data retention & deletion
Seeqly is designed to retain as little data as possible:
- Your Google Analytics and Search Console data is not retained. It is requested from Google only when you view the dashboard and is discarded as soon as the page is served.
- Your OAuth tokens are retained only in server memory for the length of your active session. They are automatically deleted when you log out or when the server restarts, after which you would sign in again.
- Seeqly keeps no long-term database of your Google user data.
- You can revoke Seeqly's access to your Google data at any time via your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately and permanently ends Seeqly's ability to access your data.
- If you would like to confirm deletion of any data associated with your account, contact us at the address below and we will action the request.
limited use
Seeqly's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements. Seeqly only uses Google user data to
display it back to the signed-in user, and does not transfer, sell, or use
this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing
the dashboard feature.
your control
You can revoke Seeqly's access to your Google data at any time via your
Google Account:
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
